QueenBean FAQs

No, K-cups and pods have different shapes and work in different brewing machines. For more information about these differences please visit our blog entry.

If I am in the area can I pick up an order?
Presently we do not have a retail storefront. You may collect an order at our roasting plant by appointment only.  If you wish to visit the plant please contact us at info@thequeenbean.com.

Do you offer coffees that are not listed on the web site?
We do! Currently, Mills Coffee offers over 180 different coffees. Over time, we will be adding these great roasts to the website. In the interim, if you are looking for something special and don't see it listed, please contact us at info@thequeenbean.com and we'll let you know if we have it in stock.

Our coffees are served in many fine restaurants, cafes, and high-end grocery stores throughout the US. Email us info@thequeenbean.com to learn who serves Mills Coffee near you.

Yes! Our coffee favors, known as tasters, can be customized for a small fee. Customization options include creating your own blend (i.e., Peru dark with a hint of Belgian Chocolate), selecting the coffees you wish to include, and / or adding a custom label. 

Do flavored coffees have extra calories?  
No, flavored coffees have no significant nutritional value and adding flavor does not impact the caloric count of coffee (~2 calories per 6oz cup).

Does your coffee contain gluten?
No, all of our coffees are gluten free.

Do you offer Fair Trade coffees?
Yes, we also offer a significant number of Direct Trade coffees.  Direct Trade is more beneficial to farmers than Fair Trade! For a list of Fair or Direct Trade coffees, please visit our site or contact us at info@thequeenbean.com.

Do you offer cold brew?
Cold brew is a coffee drink.  Most cold brew coffees use a dark roast coffee and coarsely ground beans.  If you are ordering coffee that will be used for cold brew, please let us know and we will grind the beans appropriately..
